This book is a distillation of our experiences in rice production and soil fertility research at Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. It shares knowledge and information with the general public, academicians, research scientists, agriculturists, students, environmentalists and others on rice production and soil nutrients availability in a tropical acid soil. We were motivated to write this book because of the limited information available on sustainable management of soil nutrients availability in tropical acid soils using organic and inorganic amendments.
