This book of case studies covers key development issues such as poverty, IT, cyber cafes, gender and governance. The backdrop of all these cases is Malaysia. This book does not focus to the need of specific readers though could be useful as supplementary guide for students to understand the scope of case-based studies. The book’s main objective is to illustrate the use of case studies in explaining a certain situation or phenomenon. All cases explored in this book focus on the issue of policy making, policy implementation and policy evaluation in public agencies.
